How do I create flashcards?
Open a conversation in ChatGPT, then:
Ask for flashcards on a topic you want to learn, or upload your notes and ask ChatGPT to turn them into flashcards. For example, turn this study guide into flashcards or make flashcards for beginner French phrases like ordering food and asking for directions.
ChatGPT will create the flashcards directly in the response.
How do I review the flashcards?
Read the front of a card and try to recall the answer.
Tap the card to flip it and see the answer.
Select ✔️ if you know the answer or ❌ to practice it again later.
Shuffle your cards to practice in a different order.
You can also see cards you know or don’t know in ChatGPT library
Can I change my flashcards?
Yes. Ask ChatGPT to add or edit cards in the conversation. For example:
“Add cards about mitochondria.”
“Rewrite this definition in simpler language.”
Review the updated cards to make sure they cover what you want to study.
Where can I find my flashcards later?
Flashcards are automatically saved in your library. To practice again:
Open a saved deck in your library.
Or ask ChatGPT to bring your flashcards back.
What if a flashcard contains a mistake?
ChatGPT can make mistakes.
Check your flashcards against your original notes or study guide, especially before an exam.
If a card is incorrect or unclear, ask ChatGPT to edit.
