How do I connect my ChatGPT account to Apple Intelligence?
You can connect free and paid ChatGPT accounts (including Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise and Edu accounts) with Apple's integrations. On iPhone and iPad, you can set up ChatGPT in Settings.
Go to Settings, then tap Apple Intelligence & Siri.
Tap ChatGPT, then Set Up.
Tap Next, then tap Use ChatGPT with an Account, then follow the onscreen instructions.
On Mac, you can set up ChatGPT in System Settings.
Go to System Settings, then click Apple Intelligence & Siri
Click ChatGPT, then Set Up
Click Next, then click Use ChatGPT with an Account, then follow the onscreen instructions
If you use an Enterprise or Team ChatGPT account and are unable to sign into the Apple Intelligence ChatGPT integration with it, please contact your ChatGPT workspace administrator.
What is the Apple Intelligence ChatGPT integration?
Apple Intelligence is the personal intelligence system deeply integrated into iPhone, iPad and Mac that helps users communicate, work, and express themselves. It combines generative models with personal context to deliver intelligence that is most useful and personal, while protecting user’s privacy at every step.
Apple is integrating ChatGPT into several experiences within iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, allowing users to access its expertise — as well as its image and document-understanding capabilities — without needing to jump between tools.

Siri can tap into ChatGPT’s expertise when helpful. Users are asked before any questions are sent to ChatGPT, along with any documents or photos, and Siri then presents the answer directly.

ChatGPT will be available in Apple’s system wide Writing Tools, which help users generate content for anything they are writing about. With Compose, users can also access ChatGPT image tools to generate images in a wide variety of styles to complement what they are writing.
