You can connect ChatGPT to Apple Intelligence features like Writing Tools and Siri by setting up the ChatGPT extension on your device.
How to Set Up ChatGPT with Apple Intelligence
Open Settings on your device.
Tap Apple Intelligence & Siri.
Tap ChatGPT, then tap Set Up.
Choose one of the following options:
Use ChatGPT without an account
Tap Enable ChatGPT.
Note: If you later want to sign in with a ChatGPT account, go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri > ChatGPT > Sign In.Use ChatGPT with an existing account
Tap Use ChatGPT with an Account, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Note: To save your chats to your ChatGPT history, you must be signed into an account.

If You Don’t See the ChatGPT Option
Make sure your Siri Language and Device Language are set to the same, supported language.

Sending Requests to ChatGPT Without Confirming
To allow Siri to automatically send questions to ChatGPT:
Go to Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri.
Tap ChatGPT.
Toggle Confirm ChatGPT Requests to Off.
Note: Siri will always ask for your permission before sending any files to ChatGPT.
You can also bypass confirmation by starting your Siri query with "Ask ChatGPT...".
Turning Off ChatGPT Access
Open Settings.
Tap Apple Intelligence & Siri.
Tap ChatGPT.
Turn ChatGPT off.
If you also want to prevent Siri from suggesting ChatGPT, turn off Setup Prompts after disabling ChatGPT.
