Can I use ChatGPT in KakaoTalk now?

Not yet. Today’s news is an announcement. There’s nothing new to enable in KakaoTalk.

Is there a beta or waitlist?

Not at this time. We’ll share sign-up information if that changes.

Will this work outside Korea?

The ChatGPT experience in KakaoTalk will be available in the Korean version of KakaoTalk. You can continue using ChatGPT on the web and mobile apps wherever they’re supported. The same OpenAI account works in both.

Does this change how my data is handled?

No. There are no changes to your ChatGPT data or privacy settings today. We’ll document data flow and controls ahead of launch.
