Space is the home for your files and pages in ChatGPT. It replaces Library, while your Projects stay as they are. Pages are editable documents that you can organize inside other pages and work on with other people.

When you collaborate, each person can use their own ChatGPT agent to work with the shared content.

Manage who can access a page

You can choose who to share a page with and whether they can view or edit it. For pages you share, you can review who has access, change their permissions, and remove collaborators or revoke access.

In a managed workspace, your administrator’s sharing controls also apply. If a sharing option is missing, check that you’re in the right account and workspace, that your role permits the action, and that your administrator allows the type of sharing you want.

A page’s creator or owner can delete it.

Understand what others can see

Sharing a page gives people access to the content on that page, which is subject to their own training and Memory settings. It does not give them access to your private chats or your ChatGPT Memory. Each person works with their own ChatGPT.

If Memory is enabled, ChatGPT may use personal context when helping you write or update a page. Once that information is written onto the page, people who can view the page can read it. Review the page’s content before sharing it.

For example, if ChatGPT uses something from a previous conversation to help write a project brief, that information becomes visible to the people who can read the brief and they may remember relevant information from it if their Memory is enabled, even if yours is off. Your previous conversation itself is not shared.

Share files and links

Files uploaded into a page follow that page’s permissions. People who can access the page can access those uploaded files.

Adding a link to a separately stored file does not automatically give readers permission to open it. This includes files stored in Space and files in external services.

For a file in an external service, the service’s own access permissions still apply. Sharing the page does not change those permissions. However, information copied or summarized from that file onto the page becomes visible to people who can view the page, even if they cannot open the original file.

Understand how model training works

When an agent uses a page, the page content it reads or writes can become part of that agent’s interaction.

Personal accounts

Use of that interaction for model training follows the settings of the person using the agent. If you allow your interactions to help improve models, they may include content your agent reads, writes, or contributes to a shared page.

If another person’s agent uses a page you shared, their training settings apply to that interaction. Your own training setting does not control theirs.

Report content

To report a page or artifact that may violate OpenAI’s policies, use the Report Content form. Include a link to the affected item and a brief description of the concern. You do not need to make private content public to report it.
