Promotion overview
Eligible ChatGPT Business users may see a limited-time offer for certain partner plugins, as a banner displayed within ChatGPT web or Desktop app, in the plugin directory listing for that app.. After an eligible user accepts the offer, installs the promoted plugin, and completes the first successful workflow within 7 days of installation, the user’s ChatGPT Business workspace receives a $50 promotional credit if all offer requirements are met.
No promo code or separate redemption is required. Only users who are eligible for an available offer will see the promotion banner.
Each ChatGPT Business workspace can receive up to two $50 credits across all eligible partner plugin campaigns. After the workspace reaches that limit, no users in the workspace will see or be able to redeem another partner plugin offer.
Availability
The promotion is available to eligible members with any ChatGPT Business seat, including Standard, Premium, and legacy Codex seats. The plugin and underlying apps must be enabled and available to your workspace, by a workspace administrator. If you are eligible, a banner will be displayed within ChatGPT Web, or the ChatGPT Desktop app in the Plugin directory, for the entry for eligible plugins. Click on the banner to begin the redemption process.
The initial promotion includes the following plugins:

The offer shown in ChatGPT identifies the specific plugin and promotion available to you.
How the promotion works
If you are eligible, you will see an offer for a participating plugin in the Plugins directory on ChatGPT Web, when viewing the entry of the eligible plugin.
Accept the offer, then install and connect the promoted plugin. Note that your workspace administrator may first have to ensure the plugin and underlying apps within the plugin are enabled for the workspace.
Complete a qualifying workflow with the promoted plugin within 7 days of installing it.
OpenAI checks your eligibility, the workspace limits, and whether the offer is still available.
If all requirements are met, the $50 promotional credit is added automatically to the workspace. You and the workspace admins receive confirmation emails. Workspace owners and admins can view the updated workspace credit balance.
Eligibility requirements
You may be eligible if:
you are a member of a ChatGPT Business workspace with any Business seat type;
you have not already redeemed an offer in this plugin-usage campaign;
your workspace has received fewer than 2 credits across the six promoted plugins;
you complete a qualifying workflow within 7 days of installing the promoted plugin; and
the campaign is active and promotional credits remain available.
You are not eligible if you installed or explicitly connected the promoted plugin before accepting the offer, even if you had not used it.
OpenAI may apply other eligibility and abuse-prevention checks. OpenAI may withhold, revoke, or cancel a promotional credit in cases of suspected misuse or fraud, as permitted by applicable terms. Duplicate, repeated, or concurrent attempts do not create additional credits.
Using the promotional credit
Promotional credits are added to the eligible ChatGPT Business workspace, rather than an individual account. They are agentic credits that can be used for eligible ChatGPT Work, Codex, ChatGPT for Excel or Sheets, ChatGPT for PowerPoint, and Workspace Agent usage supported by the workspace’s plan.
The promotional credit does not change the workspace’s subscription or included usage. It is not an API credit.
Terms
OpenAI’s Service Credit Terms apply. Promotional credits are not cash, refundable, or transferable. They expire 30 days after redemption.
Offers are available only while the campaign is active and promotional credits remain. OpenAI may modify, pause, or end an offer, or revoke credits for misuse or fraud, in compliance with applicable law and terms.
FAQs
What counts as a successful plugin workflow?
A successful workflow requires a real invocation of the promoted plugin and a successful response. Installing, enabling, connecting, or authenticating the plugin alone does not qualify.
Which ChatGPT Business seats are eligible?
Members with any ChatGPT Business seat may be eligible, including Standard, Premium, and legacy Codex seats. You must also meet the other eligibility requirements for the offer.
Which plugins are included?
See section above on availability. Not all plugins may be enabled in your workspace - contact your workspace administrator if a plugin is disabled or not available.
Can I receive a credit if I already installed or connected the plugin?
No. If you currently have the promoted plugin installed or connected before accepting the offer, you are not eligible, even if you have not used it. However, if another user in your workspace has never used or connected the plugin, they may be eligible.
How many promotional credits can I receive?
Each eligible user can redeem one offer across the six promoted plugins, which adds $50 in credits, to the workspace.
A workspace can receive up to two $50 credits across the six promoted plugins. For example, if one member redeems the HubSpot offer and another member redeems the Dropbox offer, the workspace has reached its limit. Members of that workspace will not see or be able to redeem another partner plugin offer.
Where can I see the credit?
After the qualifying workflow passes eligibility checks, you and the workspace admins receive confirmation emails. Workspace owners and admins can view the updated workspace credit balance in the applicable usage or billing area.
When will the credit appear?
The credit is added automatically after the qualifying workflow passes eligibility checks. If you completed the steps but do not receive a confirmation email or see an updated balance, contact OpenAI Support. Include the workspace, promoted plugin, and approximate time of the workflow.
Do promotional credits expire?
Yes. Promotional credits expire 30 days after redemption.
Can I transfer, sell, exchange, or cash out the credit?
No. Promotional credits are not cash, refundable, or transferable. They may be used only for eligible agentic usage supported by the workspace’s plan.
Are these API credits?
No. They are agentic credits that can be used for eligible ChatGPT Work, Codex, ChatGPT for Excel or Sheets, ChatGPT for PowerPoint, and Workspace Agent usage supported by the workspace’s plan.
