How do I update my account's billing information (e.g. VAT ID)?

For ChatGPT Plus / Pro Accounts

To update the billing information linked to your ChatGPT Plus or Pro account, please follow these steps:

1. Visit chatgpt.com.

2. Click on your profile icon > Settings.

3. Navigate to the Subscription tab and click on Payment > Manage.

4. Update your information as needed.

For ChatGPT Team Accounts

To update the billing information linked to your ChatGPT Team account, please follow these steps:

1. Visit chatgpt.com.

2. Click on your profile icon > Manage workspace.

3. Navigate to the Billing tab and select Plan > Manage license > Payment method.

4. Update your information as needed.

For OpenAI API Accounts (platform.openai.com):

If you're an owner of an API organization, you can update your billing information via the API Billing preference panel. From within the UI, this can be found under Settings > Organization > Billing.
