DSA Designated Point of Contact for Authorities

Pursuant to Article 11 of the DSA, our Government Request Portal (Kodex) has been designated as OpenAI’s point of contact for communications with Member State authorities, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services. You will need to sign up for an account with your government credential and submit requests through the Kodex portal. Such communications should be in English. This is reserved for engagement with the authorities listed above and with other governmental submissions to remove content. 

 For other types of inquiries, please use the mechanisms described below. 

DSA Designated Point of Contact for Users

OpenAI offers a variety of ways for users to contact us.

You can contact our support team in two ways, depending on whether you have an account with us.

  • If you already have an account, simply login and use the "Help" button to start a conversation.

  • If you don't have an account or can't login, you can still reach us by selecting the chat bubble icon in the bottom right of help.openai.com.

Users in the EU have the additional option of contacting OpenAI by sending an email to DSA-users@openai.com, which serves as our single point of contact for EU users under the DSA.

Illegal Content Reporting Webform

Pursuant to Article 16 of the DSA, if you are a user choosing to report illegal content, you can make a report via our webform. Alternatively, you may be able to make a report in-product, learn more about your options here.

European Union Monthly Active Recipients

In accordance with our obligations under Article 24(2) of the DSA, OpenAI Ireland Limited publishes information on the average ‘monthly active recipients’ of ChatGPT search and Browse (i.e. our online search features) in the European Union, calculated over a six-month period.

For the six-month period ending 31 October 2024, ChatGPT search and Browse had in combination approximately 11.2 million average monthly active recipients in the European Union.

This average has been calculated solely for the purposes of complying with our DSA obligations and should not be relied upon or used for other purposes.
