If you want to request a refund, first navigate to ChatGPT and log in with the account you would like to request a refund for. Next, navigate to the Help Center and select the message icon displayed at the bottom-right of the Help Center. Once opened, start a conversation by clicking the Messages menu option and then the Ask a question
button:
It is important to ensure you are logged in to ChatGPT before proceeding or the chat bot will not display the necessary chat options to request a refund.
From there, select the Payments and Billing
option and then choose the Request a refund
option. You may be asked to select which product (ChatGPT, API, etc) and to provide any additional relevant information to help our Billing team understand your issue.
Our team will reply back to you with a determination as soon as possible. If you are eligible for a refund, we will process it within 5-7 business days.
