Update to GPT-4o (November 20, 2024)

We’ve updated GPT-4o for ChatGPT users on all paid tiers. This update to GPT-4o includes improved writing capabilities that are now more natural, audience-aware, and tailored to improve relevance and readability. This model is also better at working with uploaded files, providing deeper insights and more thorough responses.

Advanced Voice for ChatGPT Web (Nov 19, 2024)

Starting today, we’re beginning to roll out Advanced Voice Mode on web (already available on mobile and desktop apps). Users can now start a voice chat on chatgpt.com on their desktop and have real-time, natural conversations with ChatGPT while doing tasks like, planning, writing, and brainstorming.

Windows App (November 14 2024)

The improved Windows app is now available through the Microsoft Store for ChatGPT Enterprise and Edu workspaces. ChatGPT users that are familiar with our experience on the web can seamlessly integrate the Windows app into anything they’re doing on their computer.

System Requirements: Windows 10 (x64 and arm64) version 17763.0 or higher

User access to the ChatGPT Windows app will follow your IT admin’s policies for apps in the Microsoft Store. In the coming weeks, IT admins will also have the option to deploy the app to employee devices via MDM/MAM, rather than allowing direct downloads from the Store.

As with any ChatGPT Enterprise experience, user chat history is secure and will not be used to improve OpenAI's services. Learn more about Enterprise data privacy.
