Codex-updates: computergebruik en afstandsbediening voor Windows, gebruiksprofielen
Codex ondersteunt nu Computer Use op Windows in de Codex-app. Business-gebruikers met Codex-toegang kunnen Computer Use gebruiken om Codex in Windows-applicaties te laten kijken, klikken en typen. Gebruikers kunnen Windows-workflows ook voortzetten vanuit ChatGPT op iOS of Android, of vanuit Codex op Mac, om voortgang te controleren, op prompts te reageren en bij te sturen terwijl ze niet achter hun bureau zitten, terwijl de Windows-machine de host blijft voor projectbestanden, shell, appserver en lokale context.
Als je Computer Use op Windows wilt proberen, installeer je de Computer Use-plugin vanuit de Plugins-marktplaats en roep je die aan met de @-vermelding, of Codex kan deze gebruiken wanneer dat passend is voor de taak.
Deze release verbetert ook de responsiviteit van de Codex-app en de snelheid, stabiliteit en webcompatibiliteit van de browser in de app, en voegt Codex-profielen toe die geleidelijk worden uitgerold voor in aanmerking komende gebruikers. Met profielen kunnen gebruikers hun Codex-identiteit, activiteit in de tijd, profielgegevens, gebruiksstatistieken en tokenactiviteit bekijken en volgen.
Computer Use op Windows is bij de lancering niet beschikbaar in de Europese Economische Ruimte, het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Zwitserland.

Appsjablonen voor GitHub Enterprise, Snowflake en Databricks
Werkruimtebeheerders en -eigenaren met Business-abonnementen kunnen nu ChatGPT-appsjablonen gebruiken om werkruimtespecifieke apps te maken voor GitHub Enterprise, Snowflake en Databricks. Appsjablonen bieden een begeleide configuratiestroom voor providerspecifieke configuratie, zoals OAuth-gegevens, callback-URL's, webhookdetails, beheerde MCP-server-URL's en toegangsinstellingen voor de werkruimte voordat beheerders de app publiceren voor leden.
Gebruik de nieuwe configuratiehandleidingen om de algemene stroom voor appsjablonen en de providerspecifieke stappen voor elke sjabloon te begrijpen: ChatGPT-appsjablonen, GitHub Enterprise-appsjabloon, Snowflake-appsjabloon en Databricks-appsjabloon.
Na publicatie kunnen beheerders de resulterende app beheren via Werkruimte-instellingen > Apps > Ingeschakeld, inclusief roltoegang, actiebeheer en actiebevestiging.

Codex-updates: rijkere context, gedeelde plugins, doelmodus, browserverbeteringen, vergrendeld gebruik op afstand en analytics
Codex geeft teams nu meer manieren om context in langere workflows te brengen, interne tools te hergebruiken en adoptie te volgen:
Met Appshots in de macOS-app kunnen gebruikers via een sneltoets een appvenster aan een Codex-thread koppelen, inclusief screenshot en beschikbare tekst.
Doelmodus is algemeen beschikbaar in de Codex-app, IDE-extensie en CLI, zodat gebruikers een uitkomst en succescriteria kunnen definiëren en Codex ernaartoe kunnen laten werken.
Browserannotaties in de app ondersteunen nauwkeuriger stylingfeedback voor browser- en frontendwerk.
Met vergrendeld computergebruik kunnen gebruikers Codex op afstand en veilig laten doorwerken nadat de Mac is vergrendeld, afhankelijk van bestaande regionale beperkingen. Beheerders en eigenaren kunnen deze functie uitschakelen door
remote_computer_use = falsein te stellen bij Policies & Configurations in Codex cloud. Codex-toegang op afstand en toegangstokens voor automatisering
Teams kunnen nu de mobiele ChatGPT-app gebruiken om verbonden te blijven met Codex-werk dat op een host-Mac draait, waardoor het makkelijker wordt om vragen te beantwoorden, werk bij te sturen, acties goed te keuren, outputs te beoordelen en langer lopende taken voort te zetten wanneer je niet bij de hostmachine bent. De mobiele ervaring weerspiegelt de live status van de verbonden omgeving, inclusief projectcontext, goedkeuringen, screenshots, terminaluitvoer, diffs en testresultaten.
Codex voegt ook toegangstokens toe voor vertrouwde, niet-interactieve lokale workflows, zodat goedgekeurde automatisering kan draaien via scripts, planners of private CI-runners met een ChatGPT-werkruimte-identiteit.
Codex in de mobiele ChatGPT-app wordt in preview uitgerold op iOS en Android voor alle abonnementen, inclusief Business, in ondersteunde regio's. Werk zowel de mobiele ChatGPT-app als de Codex-app op macOS bij om het te proberen. Mobiele configuratie begint in de Codex-app op de host en kan vereisen dat toegang voor afstandsbediening is ingeschakeld voor de werkruimte.

Analytics en Agents in de globale beheerdersconsole
De globale beheerdersconsole bevat nu nieuwe gebieden voor Analytics en Agents. Analytics geeft beheerders een geconsolideerd overzicht van adoptie en gebruik, met trendweergaven voor actieve gebruikers en berichtactiviteit plus drilldowns voor GPT's, projecten, skills, gebruikers, toolinteracties, connectorinteracties en werkruimtegezondheid.
Agents geeft beheerders een geconsolideerd overzicht van werkruimteagents in de hele organisatie. Beheerders kunnen een agent openen om details te bekijken zoals Agent ID, recente activiteit, verbonden apps, geheugenbestanden, planningen en agentanalytics zoals unieke gebruikers en uitvoeringen in de tijd, of naar Builder gaan om deze te bewerken. ChatGPT voor Excel en Google Sheets
ChatGPT voor Excel en Google Sheets is nu wereldwijd beschikbaar voor ChatGPT Business en geeft teams een spreadsheet-native ChatGPT-zijbalk in Excel en Google Sheets om werkmappen te bouwen, op te schonen, bij te werken en uit te leggen. Het ondersteunt Skills en apps waar beschikbaar, zodat spreadsheetwerk goedgekeurde bestanden, systemen en gegevensbronnen uit het ChatGPT-account van een gebruiker kan gebruiken.
Business-klanten hebben een gratis preview tot en met 2 juni 2026; daarna volgt het gebruik de credits en gebruiksvoorwaarden van het abonnement. Beheerders kunnen ChatGPT voor Excel en Sheets inschakelen in werkruimte-instellingen en apps inschakelen in het beheerdersportaal; appbeschikbaarheid kan afhangen van rechten, beheerdersinstellingen en bronmachtigingen. ChatGPT Workspace Agents voor Enterprise en Business
ChatGPT-werkruimteagents worden de komende weken geleidelijk uitgerold naar ChatGPT Business-werkruimten.
Met Workspace Agents kunnen organisaties agents bouwen en gebruiken voor herhaalbare taken en bedrijfsworkflows automatiseren met al je verbonden apps; ze kunnen worden uitgevoerd in ChatGPT en/of Slack. Werkruimteagents kunnen worden gemaakt, vóór publicatie worden bekeken, binnen een werkruimte worden gedeeld en volgens een planning worden uitgevoerd.
In aanmerking komende werkruimten kunnen nu:
Agents maken vanuit sjablonen of vanaf nul bouwen.
Agents verbinden met tools en apps zoals Google Drive, Google Calendar, Slack en SharePoint.
Skills, bestanden en aangepaste MCP-servers toevoegen.
Agents privé, via een link of in de werkruimtedirectory delen.
Terugkerende uitvoeringen plannen in ChatGPT.
Agents gebruiken in verbonden Slack-kanalen.
Versiegeschiedenis en analytics voor agents bekijken.
Werkruimtebeheerders kunnen ook toegang tot het bouwen en publiceren van agents en Slack-gebruik beheren via beheerdersinstellingen. ChatGPT-werkruimteagents zijn bij de lancering standaard ingeschakeld.
Gegevensresidentie voor apps met synchronisatie in Japan
Alle apps met synchronisatie ondersteunen nu gegevensresidentie binnen de regio in Japan voor in aanmerking komende ChatGPT Business-werkruimten. Voorheen was gegevensresidentie voor apps met synchronisatie in Japan beperkt tot Google Drive en GitHub. Vereenvoudigde bediening voor appacties
Werkruimte-eigenaren en beheerders kunnen appacties nu beheren met een vereenvoudigd model in Werkruimte-instellingen > Apps. In Actiebeheer kunnen beheerders kiezen of een app alle acties toestaat, alleen leesacties toestaat of een aangepaste configuratie gebruikt voor huidige acties.
Beheerders kunnen ook kiezen hoe later toegevoegde acties worden behandeld: alle nieuwe acties inschakelen, alleen nieuwe leesacties inschakelen of nieuwe acties uitschakelen totdat ze zijn beoordeeld. Dit maakt het makkelijker om appmachtigingen te beheren, terwijl gedetailleerde controle mogelijk blijft wanneer dat nodig is.
Eigenaren en beheerders willen mogelijk de momenteel ingeschakelde apps, RBAC-toegang en instellingen voor appacties bekijken om te bevestigen dat het beleid van elke app aansluit op de behoeften van hun werkruimte. Werkruimte-analytics voor Business
Een vernieuwde analytics-ervaring met de naam Werkruimte-analytics is nu beschikbaar voor ChatGPT Business. Werkruimte-analytics vervangt Gebruikersanalytics door een eenvoudiger weergave op werkruimteniveau, waarmee beheerders de algemene adoptie en het Codex-gebruik binnen hun organisatie kunnen begrijpen.
Belangrijkste punten:
Vernieuwde analytics-ervaring: bijgewerkte visuals en navigatie met een gestroomlijnd dashboard voor snelle beoordeling van werkruimteactiviteit.
Samenvattende werkruimtemetingen: bekijk hoofdstatistieken zoals actieve gebruikers, totaal verzonden berichten en totaal bestede credits in het geselecteerde tijdsbereik.
Gebruikstabel op ledenniveau: bekijk gebruik per werkruimtelid, inclusief seattype, bestede credits en verzonden berichten.
Flexibele datumbereiken: analyseer activiteit over vooraf ingestelde perioden, zoals 7 dagen, 1 maand, 6 maanden, 12 maanden of een aangepast bereik.
Codex-zichtbaarheid: ga direct naar Codex-analytics voor lichte inzichten in creditgebruik en ontwikkelaarsactiviteit.
Zoeken en filteren: vind snel specifieke leden en bekijk individuele gebruikspatronen.

Acties voor gedeelde Outlook-mailboxen en gedeelde agenda's
De Outlook Email- en Calendar-apps voor ChatGPT ondersteunen nu meer gedelegeerde Outlook-workflows voor teams. Met de juiste Microsoft-machtigingen kunnen gebruikers ChatGPT vragen om berichten in gedeelde mailboxen te tonen en te lezen, mappen in gedeelde mailboxen te bekijken, gedeelde e-mail als gelezen of ongelezen te markeren, gedeelde berichten te verplaatsen en e-mail in platte tekst te verzenden vanuit of namens een gedeelde mailbox. ChatGPT kan ook afspraken in gedeelde Outlook-agenda's maken, bijwerken, beantwoorden, annuleren en verwijderen, en kleine bestanden eraan toevoegen.
Werkruimte-eigenaren en beheerders moeten de actie-instellingen van de Outlook-app bekijken voordat ze nieuw toegevoegde acties inschakelen. Gebruikers die Outlook eerder hebben verbonden, moeten mogelijk opnieuw verbinding maken nadat de werkruimte de nieuwe acties heeft ingeschakeld; Microsoft Entra-goedkeuring kan ook vereist zijn. Nieuwe Codex-seats in ChatGPT Business
We introduceren een nieuw seattype: een Codex-seat op basis van flexibele, creditgebaseerde prijzen. Codex-seats hebben geen vaste maandelijkse kosten en bieden alleen toegang tot Codex; ze omvatten geen toegang tot de ChatGPT-werkruimte. Er is geen minimumaantal Codex-seats dat je moet kopen, maar omdat seats op basis van gebruik worden gefactureerd, vereist het gebruik van Codex werkruimtecredits.

Voor beperkte tijd kunnen in aanmerking komende ChatGPT Business-werkruimten tot $100 aan Codex-credits verdienen per nieuw toegevoegde Codex-seat nadat dat lid zijn eerste Codex-bericht heeft verzonden, tot $500 per werkruimte. Samen met deze wijziging verlagen we de prijs van abonnementsgebaseerde ChatGPT-seats met USD $5 per maand (de werkelijke verlaging kan afhangen van prijzen in je regio).
Als je een huidige abonnee bent, wordt de nieuwe, lagere prijs weergegeven op je volgende maandelijkse of jaarlijkse factuur. We restitueren het naar rato berekende prijsverschil op je huidige factuur als credit die kan worden toegepast op je volgende abonnementsverlenging om rekening te houden met de prijswijziging. Bijgewerkte Box-, Notion-, Linear- en Dropbox-apps
We rollen bijgewerkte Box-, Notion-, Linear- en Dropbox-apps uit in ChatGPT Business. Deze updates voegen nieuwe appacties toe, waaronder nieuwe schrijfmogelijkheden waar ondersteund, en brengen de nieuwste app-ervaring naar ChatGPT.
Deze apps worden automatisch ingeschakeld, en werkruimtebeheerders/-eigenaren kunnen appacties bekijken in Werkruimte-instellingen > Apps om acties in te schakelen die aansluiten op de behoeften van hun werkruimte. Daarnaast kunnen nieuwe acties bijgewerkte scopes omvatten; beheerders/eigenaren moeten de apppagina's van Box, Notion, Linear en Dropbox raadplegen voor details en alle nieuwe scopes autoriseren die nodig zijn om nieuwe acties te ondersteunen (zoals schrijfacties). Nieuwe gebruikers kunnen deze apps mogelijk niet verbinden totdat aan de scope-autorisaties is voldaan, of acties zijn ingeschakeld/uitgeschakeld in overeenstemming met geautoriseerde scopes.
Leden die deze apps eerder hebben verbonden, moeten de app mogelijk opnieuw verbinden na beoordeling door de beheerder om de bijgewerkte ervaring te gaan gebruiken.

Plugins in Codex
Codex bevat nu een samengestelde plugindirectory waarmee gebruikers verpakte workflows kunnen ontdekken, installeren en gebruiken die rechtstreeks in Codex zijn opgebouwd uit apps en skills. Plugins zijn installeerbare bundels voor herbruikbare Codex-workflows, waardoor je dezelfde configuratie makkelijker kunt delen tussen projecten of teams. Plugins kunnen skills, optionele appintegraties en MCP-serverconfiguraties op één plek bundelen. Meer informatie.
De beschikbaarheid van plugins volgt de appinstellingen van de werkruimte; als de onderliggende app is uitgeschakeld, kan de bijbehorende plugin ook niet beschikbaar zijn. Werkruimte-eigenaren kunnen app-toegang beheren via Werkruimte-instellingen → Apps.

Unificatie van de Google Drive-app
Google's bestandsapps in ChatGPT zijn nu samengevoegd onder Google Drive, wat één app-ervaring biedt voor interactie met je Google Docs, Sheets en Slides op Google Drive.
De nieuwe Google Drive-acties staan standaard aan voor Business-werkruimten. Beheerders/eigenaren kunnen acties bekijken en beheren via Werkruimte-instellingen > Apps. Zoek de vermelding Google Drive en klik op Acties beheren.
Bestaande gebruikers van de apps Google Drive, Docs, Sheets en Slides worden niet beïnvloed; eerder verbonden apps blijven werken. Om te profiteren van de uniforme ervaring kunnen bestaande gebruikers de Google Drive-app loskoppelen en opnieuw verbinden om de nieuwe acties binnen ChatGPT te gaan gebruiken. Nieuwe gebruikers kunnen verbinding maken met de Google Drive-app om Docs-, Sheets- en Slides-acties te gebruiken, zonder de afzonderlijke apps te hoeven verbinden.
Google Workspace-beheerders moeten mogelijk Google-scopes die overeenkomen met appacties opnieuw autoriseren; anders kunnen gebruikers verbindingsfouten krijgen wanneer ze verbinding proberen te maken. Lees meer.

Schrijfacties voor Microsoft- en Google-apps in ChatGPT
We hebben scopes en acties in Google- en Microsoft-apps in ChatGPT bijgewerkt met ondersteuning voor schrijfacties. Je kunt nu apps zoals Microsoft Outlook Email gebruiken om e-mails voor je op te stellen, Google Docs en Sheets om spreadsheets of documenten te maken, of vergaderingen plannen met de bijbehorende agenda-apps.
Schrijfacties blijven standaard uitgeschakeld totdat werkruimtebeheerders ze per app inschakelen in Werkruimte-instellingen > Apps > Acties beheren. Voor Microsoft-apps hebben sommige klanten mogelijk ook goedkeuring van een Microsoft Entra-beheerder nodig voor bijgewerkte scopes voordat nieuwe gebruikers succesvol verbinding kunnen maken. Bijgewerkte scopes voor Microsoft-apps
We hebben de scopes bijgewerkt die worden aangevraagd door de apps Outlook Calendar, Outlook Email, Microsoft SharePoint en Microsoft Teams om extra acties te ondersteunen. Microsoft Entra-beheerders moeten de bijgewerkte appscopes beoordelen en goedkeuren voordat nieuwe gebruikers verbinding maken; anders kunnen gebruikers verbindingsproblemen krijgen.
Let op: de nieuwe scopes maken nieuwe acties voor deze apps (inclusief eventuele schrijfacties) niet automatisch beschikbaar of ingeschakeld. Werkruimtebeheerders en -eigenaren moeten beschikbare appacties bekijken door de appvermelding te zoeken in Werkruimte-instellingen > Apps en vervolgens op Acties beheren te klikken.
Nieuwe acties zijn standaard uitgeschakeld wanneer ze beschikbaar worden gemaakt; beheerders/eigenaren kunnen acties beoordelen en vervolgens inschakelen als dit passend is voor hun werkruimte.

Codex-app op Windows
De Codex-app is nu beschikbaar op Windows voor ChatGPT Business-werkruimten die Codex bevatten. De app geeft leden een Windows-desktopomgeving om meerdere Codex-agents parallel uit te voeren, met geïsoleerde worktrees, controleerbare diffs en interoperabiliteit met Codex in de CLI en IDE.
Leden kunnen vanuit de app inloggen met ChatGPT om vanuit een Windows-omgeving te werken, en beheerders hoeven geen apart app-specifiek machtigingsmodel te configureren. Voeg overal bronnen toe aan je projecten
Projecten maken het nu eenvoudig om een levende kennisbank op te bouwen door bronnen toe te voegen waar je context al staat: in apps, gesprekken of snelle tekstinvoer.
Bronnen uit apps: plak een link naar een Slack-kanaal of Google Drive-bestand of -map om dit direct als projectbron toe te voegen.
Gebruik daarnaast verbonden apps rechtstreeks in chats.
Bronnen uit chats: sla nuttige ChatGPT-antwoorden op in je project, zodat goede outputs herbruikbare kennis worden.
Ad-hoc tekstbronnen: plak notities, briefings of referentiemateriaal rechtstreeks om context direct vast te leggen.

Introductie van de Codex-app
Vandaag brengen we de Codex-app voor MacOS uit, een commandocentrum voor het parallel beheren van meerdere programmeeragents. Met de app kun je taken met een lange horizon en achtergrondtaken uitvoeren, overzichtelijke diffs uit geïsoleerde worktrees bekijken, de voortgang en beslissingen van agents zien en herbruikbare skills en automatiseringen uitvoeren.
De Codex-app volgt dezelfde beheerdersinstellingen als Codex local en Codex cloud. Codex local moet zijn ingeschakeld voordat leden de Codex-app kunnen gebruiken. Beheerders/eigenaren kunnen Codex-toegang beheren via Werkruimte-instellingen -> Machtigingen & rollen.
We introduceren ook een tijdelijke promotie: Business-gebruikers krijgen 2x Codex-volumelimieten. Ga aan de slag door de macOS-app te downloaden en meer te lezen over Codex.

Introductie van de appdirectory in ChatGPT
Je kunt nu goedgekeurde apps bekijken en toevoegen in de nieuwe appdirectory. Met apps kun je rechtstreeks in een gesprek werken met je tools en gegevens: van interactieve ervaringen in de chat tot veilige verbindingen waarmee ChatGPT informatie uit externe diensten kan zoeken en raadplegen.
Als onderdeel van deze update verschijnen connectors nu als apps in de directory, zodat je al je tools makkelijker op één plek kunt beheren. Verwijzingen in het helpcentrum zijn bijgewerkt om deze nieuwe terminologie weer te geven.
Voor gebruikers van ChatGPT Business zijn apps standaard ingeschakeld. Beheerders en eigenaren kunnen bepalen welke apps beschikbaar zijn voor hun werkruimte en via werkruimte-instellingen instellen welke acties elke app mag uitvoeren.
Apps zijn beschikbaar voor alle ingelogde ChatGPT-gebruikers; beschikbaarheid en functionaliteit verschillen per abonnement en regio. Sommige apps of mogelijkheden zijn mogelijk niet beschikbaar in bepaalde regio's (waaronder de EER, GB of Zwitserland) of vereisen mogelijk specifieke abonnementsniveaus.

We’ve refreshed the Apps & connectors section in Workspace settings for admins and owners with a clearer layout: tabs for Enabled, Available, and Draft; a streamlined list view; search and filters; and bulk actions like selecting multiple apps to manage roles or disable. Enabling actions, including sync where supported, now live directly in each connector’s listing.

Atlassian Rovo MCP connector
We’re adding Atlassian Rovo to our list of MCP connectors, which brings in your Jira, Compass, and Confluence information to bring relevant project context into your chats. This connector enables you to take supported write actions in Jira right from ChatGPT — such as creating issues and triggering workflows—based on what you request and on patterns identified in your project data. All actions are initiated, approved and completed directly in chat.
Admins can review actions and other basic information about the connectors in Workspace settings → App. Users can add the Atlassian Rovo from Settings → Apps & Connectors.
The Atlassian Rovo connector is available to Enterprise, Edu, Business, Pro and Plus customers with connectors enabled for their workspace.

New MCP connectors available today
We’re rolling out a new set of MCP access connectors built by partners and reviewed by OpenAI, including Amplitude, Fireflies, Vercel, Monday.com, Stripe, Hex, Egnyte, Alpaca, BioRender, Semrush, and Jam.dev. This is available to Enterprise, Edu, Business, Pro and Plus customers with connectors enabled for their workspace. These connectors expand the set of tools customers can bring into ChatGPT and will be followed by additional connectors on a rolling basis.
The connectors released today are access connectors, which fetch content when a user asks a question, built using MCP. Connectors remain default off for Enterprise plans, and default on for Business plans.
Admins can review Actions and other basic information about these connectors in Workspace settings → Apps.

Starting today, company knowledge will support custom MCP connectors with search/fetch functionality. Custom connectors fitting this criteria that are enabled for your organization will appear in the company knowledge experience for users that have enabled them for allowed users, giving your team a more complete, accurate, and company-specific context when using the feature.

Apps & Apps SDK now available to Business plans
ChatGPT Business customers will now have access to ChatGPT apps. Apps include interactive interfaces – like presentations, maps, and playlists – that respond to natural language and adapt to your conversation. You can start with a bulleted outline and ask Canva to turn it into a professional presentation, or turn a rough sketch into a FigJam diagram—all without leaving ChatGPT.
Our pilot partners—like Figma, Canva, Booking.com, Coursera, Expedia, Spotify, and Zillow—will be available to Business customers in markets where their services are offered, starting in English, with more apps coming.
You can also build your own apps with the Apps SDK, then test and deploy it for your team using developer mode.

Introducing the ChatGPT app and ChatGPT connector for Slack
We’re rolling out two new ways to bring Slack and ChatGPT together: a connector that brings your Slack context into ChatGPT, and a ChatGPT app for Slack – an integration that enables you to chat with ChatGPT from inside Slack.
With the ChatGPT app for Slack, you can chat one-on-one with ChatGPT in a dedicated Slack sidebar – a space to ask questions, summarize long threads into action items, draft replies, and search messages and files you already have access to. Chats you start in Slack also appear in your ChatGPT sidebar, so it’s easy to pick up later from web or mobile. Semantic search is supported for Slack customers with AI enabled on Business+ or Enterprise+ plans; all other plans use keyword search.
With the ChatGPT connector for Slack, you can securely bring in context from your Slack channels and DMs, making responses more helpful Available in chat, Deep Research, and Agent Mode. The connector is enabled by default for Business customers, and users can enable from Settings > Apps & Connectors.
Both app and connector are available to Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise/Edu customers. Additionally, the ChatGPT app for Slack requires a paid Slack account; availability and workspace installation may depend on your Slack workspace settings.
Installing the app requires the connector to be enabled for your account.

Updates to Codex
We’re rolling out new Codex capabilities to help teams work and build better: Codex now works in Slack, and supports programmatic control through the Codex SDK. We’ve also added new admin controls and analytics so workspace admins can manage Codex Cloud environments, set safe defaults for CLI/IDE usage, and monitor usage with improved dashboards. Additionally, Codex rates have been updated.

Introducing project sharing
Today, we’re announcing an update to projects in ChatGPT. Now you can share projects with teammates in your workspace, adding files and instructions together to guide ChatGPT’s responses toward a shared goal. Members can chat with the project’s context to stay on the same page as new information gets added and create work that stays consistent in tone.
Shared projects are ideal for ongoing work like client management, content creation, reporting, and research.
Invite members in your workspace by individual email, group email, or shared link. Add/remove project members, set project access permissions, create new chats, add/remove files, and allow members to bring existing chats into the project. Memory is project-only, ensuring sensitive data stays safely within the project.

We’re adding GPT-5-codex, a GPT-5 variant optimized for agentic coding in Codex. It’s available everywhere you use Codex: default for cloud tasks and code review, and selectable for local workflows via the Codex CLI and IDE extension. Sharepoint synced connector
ChatGPT Business workspaces can now use the Sharepoint synced connector, which enables workspace members to securely ask questions and get answers directly from their OneDrive and SharePoint files. Connections can be created, deleted, or modified at any time. Once enabled, ChatGPT will automatically reference your SharePoint content when relevant.
Workspace Admins must enable access to the Sharepoint connector in their workspace’s Admin connectors settings. Once this is enabled, each user can connect their individual account by signing in to SharePoint through an OAuth flow.

Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts Connectors in ChatGPT
Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts are now available to connect and use in chat. Once you enable them, ChatGPT will automatically reference them when relevant, making it faster and easier to bring information from these tools into your conversations without having to manually select them each time.
If you already have Gmail or Google Calendar enabled for deep research, you can now also use them in chat. To use them in deep research, you will still need to enable each connector separately and select it every time you start a new deep research request.

Project-only memory
An improvement to projects is now available. When creating a project, users have the option to enable project-only memory.
With project-only memory enabled, ChatGPT can use other conversations in that project for additional context, and won’t use your saved memories from outside the project to shape responses. Additionally, it won’t carry anything from the project into future chats outside of the project.
This creates a focused, self-contained space, which is useful for long-running or sensitive work where you want ChatGPT to stay anchored to that project’s tone, context, and history.
Note:
Personal Memory must be enabled to utilize this feature.
Settings -> Personalization -> Memory
Workspace Memory must be enabled to utilize this feature.
Workspace owners can enable this by Workspace Settings -> Memory
This feature will initially only be available on the ChatGPT website and Windows app. Support for mobile (iOS and Android) and macOS app will follow in the coming weeks.

GPT-5 is slowly rolling out to all users on ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Team, and Free plans worldwide across web, mobile, and desktop. GPT-5 will be available to ChatGPT Enterprise and Edu plans soon.
GPT-5 in ChatGPT is our next flagship model and the new default for all logged-in users. It simplifies ChatGPT to a single auto-switching system that brings together the best of our previous models into a smart, fast model.
GPT-5 is available to all ChatGPT Tiers. Users on Paid tiers - Plus, Pro, and Team - have access to the model picker, which enables you to manually select GPT-5 or GPT-5 Thinking. Pro and Team tier users have access to GPT-5 Thinking Pro, which takes a bit longer to think but delivers the accuracy you need for complex tasks.

Please note that Voice mode is still powered by GPT-4o.
Personalities
You can now choose from four distinct personalities or use the Default personality in your Customize ChatGPT settings. Default is the standard ChatGPT style: clear, neutral, and adaptable. The other personalities each have their own style and tone, described below.
Cynic – Sarcastic and dry, delivers blunt help with wit. Often teases, but provides direct, practical answers when it matters.
Robot – Precise, efficient, and emotionless, delivering direct answers without extra words.
Listener – Warm and laid-back, reflecting your thoughts back with calm clarity and light wit.
Nerd – Playful and curious, explaining concepts clearly while celebrating knowledge and discovery.
Please note that these personalities will not apply to Voice mode.
Accent Colors
You can now set an accent color that applies to elements in ChatGPT, including your conversation bubbles, the Voice button, and highlighted text.
On web: Click your profile icon at the bottom left, select Settings, go to the General tab, and choose an option from the Accent color drop-down.
On mobile (iOS and Android): Tap your profile icon at the bottom, go to Personalization, then select Color Scheme to pick your accent color.
ChatGPT Voice updates
Today we’re rolling out improvements to Voice Mode to make it more accessible and useful for everyone. It also now works with custom GPTs. We’re expanding access with near-unlimited use for Plus users and hours each day for Free users. To simplify the experience, Standard Voice Mode will be retired in 30 days, unifying all users onto our latest voice experience.
For paid users, Voice now adapts to your instructions, adjusting its speaking style (length, speed, tone, and more) to fit the moment.

Study Mode
Study mode is currently available to users in Free, Plus, Pro, and Teams plans globally and will expand to Edu plans in the coming weeks. Study mode works with any model available in ChatGPT on iOS, Android, web, and desktop.
Study mode is a new learning experience in ChatGPT designed to help you build a deeper understanding of any topic. When you turn it on, ChatGPT will ask interactive questions to understand your goals and skill level, then work with you to reach the answer together.
With Study mode enabled, ChatGPT can:
Guide understanding with Socratic-style questions.
Break concepts into easy to follow sections starting simple and adding complexity as you progress.
Personalize responses based on your past chats if memory is on, using examples and tips tailored to you.
Check your understanding with open-ended prompts and feedback.
Work with your materials by referencing images or PDFs you upload.
You can enable study mode at any time by selecting Tools in the prompt window and choosing Study and learn from the drop‑down menu or go to chatgpt.com/studymode.
Study mode is powered by custom system instructions and can have some inconsistent behavior and mistakes across conversations. We plan on training this behavior directly into our main models once we’ve learned what works best through iteration and user feedback.

Since its launch in the API in April, GPT-4.1 has become a favorite among developers—by popular demand, we’re making it available directly in ChatGPT.
GPT-4.1 is a specialized model that excels at coding tasks. Compared to GPT-4o, it's even stronger at precise instruction following and web development tasks, and offers an alternative to OpenAI o3 and OpenAI o4-mini for simpler, everyday coding needs.
Starting today, Plus, Pro, and Team users can access GPT-4.1 via the "more models" dropdown in the model picker. Enterprise and Edu users will get access in the coming weeks. GPT-4.1 has the same rate limits as GPT-4o for paid users.

It additionally includes a dedicated collaborative workspace for your team and admin tools for team management. As with ChatGPT Enterprise, you own and control your business data — we do not train on your business data or conversations, and our models don’t learn from your usage.
