Codex আপডেট
আমরা কয়েকটি Codex আপডেট করেছি, যার মধ্যে আছে:
যোগ্য Business ব্যবহারকারীরা প্রোফাইল মেনু থেকে সহকর্মীকে আমন্ত্রণ জানান বেছে Codex আমন্ত্রণ পাঠাতে পারেন, এবং প্রাপক ওয়ার্কস্পেসে যোগ দিয়ে প্রথম Codex মেসেজ পাঠালে রেফারেল বোনাস পান. আরও জানুন বন্ধু ও সহকর্মীকে আমন্ত্রণ-এ এবং বর্তমান শর্তাবলি দেখুন. অ্যাডমিন ও মালিকরা এই ফিচার নিয়ন্ত্রণে Workspace settings > Permissions & Roles -এর টগল ব্যবহার করতে পারেন.
উপলভ্য স্থানে Chrome ও Codex ইন-অ্যাপ ব্রাউজারে Browser use-এর জন্য আমরা Developer mode যোগ করেছি. Developer mode Codex-কে performance profiling এবং network traffic, console output, runtime errors, DOM state ও applied styles-এর গভীর debugging-এর জন্য নিয়ন্ত্রিত Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) অ্যাক্সেস ব্যবহার করতে দেয়. ফিচারটি ব্যবহারকারী স্তরে ডিফল্টভাবে বন্ধ থাকে, এবং Codex অ্যাপ সেটিংস থেকে চালু করা যায়. অ্যাডমিন ও মালিকরা Policies & Configurations pane-এ গিয়ে Codex cloud settings থেকে ফিচারটি বন্ধ করতে পারেন. আরও জানুন.

ChatGPT Sites দিয়ে অভ্যন্তরীণ ওয়েবসাইট ও অ্যাপ তৈরি ও ডেপ্লয় করুন
ChatGPT Sites এখন Codex অ্যাক্সেস থাকা ChatGPT Business ওয়ার্কস্পেসের জন্য preview-তে উপলভ্য. প্লাগইন হিসেবে উপলভ্য, টিম Codex-কে অভ্যন্তরীণ ওয়ার্কস্পেস ব্যবহারের জন্য lightweight full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript web app তৈরি, iterate ও deploy করতে বলতে পারে, hosted site URL, Sign in with ChatGPT access এবং data & file storage সহ, while keeping access workspace internal.
Admins and owners workspace settings ও RBAC দিয়ে enablement ও access পরিচালনা করতে পারেন. Business workspaces-এর জন্য ChatGPT Sites ডিফল্টভাবে চালু, এবং Workspace settings > Permissions & Roles. থেকে পরিচালনা করা যায়. Codex-এ role-specific plugin
সমর্থিত ChatGPT Business ওয়ার্কস্পেসের জন্য Codex-এ role-specific plugin চালু হচ্ছে. এই প্রথম সেটে Sales, Data Analytics, Product Design, Creative Production, Investment Banking, এবং Public Equity Investing রয়েছে. এই plugin role-specific skill, app integration, starter prompt এবং workflow guidance প্যাকেজ করে, যাতে টিম Codex ব্যবহার করে sales prep, analytics ও dashboard, prototype, creative asset এবং financial research করতে পারে.
এই লঞ্চে আরও 66টি single-app plugin যোগ হয়েছে, যা Databricks, Salesforce, Hex ও Clay-এর মতো tool সহ Codex-এ উপলভ্য integration বাড়ায়. ব্যবহারকারীরা Codex plugin directory থেকে উপলভ্য plugin যোগ করতে পারেন, এবং Codex setup শেষ করতে সাহায্য করতে পারে. Workspace admin workspace settings-এ underlying app permission নিয়ন্ত্রণ করেন; প্রয়োজনীয় app enabled না থাকলে সংশ্লিষ্ট plugin উপলভ্য নাও হতে পারে.

সক্রিয় account session নিয়ন্ত্রণ
আমরা ChatGPT-এ নতুন security feature Active sessions চালু করছি, যা ব্যবহারকারীদের account-সংশ্লিষ্ট session পর্যালোচনা ও অচেনা session থেকে sign out করতে সাহায্য করে.
উপলভ্যতা: SAML বা OIDC-সহ কোনো প্রতিষ্ঠানের SSO sign-in-এর সঙ্গে যুক্ত account-এর জন্য এই feature উপলভ্য নয়. প্রতিষ্ঠান প্রতিটি sign-in-এ SSO বাধ্যতামূলক না করলেও, অথবা ব্যবহারকারী বর্তমান session-এ অন্যভাবে sign in করলেও এটি প্রযোজ্য হতে পারে.
অ্যাক্সেস থাকা ব্যবহারকারীরা এখন পারেন:
Settings > Security > Active sessions থেকে first-party OpenAI session পর্যালোচনা করতে, যেখানে device, app, আনুমানিক location, sign-in time, trusted-device status এবং এটি current session কিনা—এমন detail উপলভ্য থাকতে পারে.
Active sessions থেকে individual session বা all session থেকে log out করা.
Active sessions session management-এর মাধ্যমে পরিচিত session দেখায়, যার মধ্যে উপলভ্য হলে ChatGPT, Codex এবং API Platform session অন্তর্ভুক্ত. এটি third-party app session, connected app, শুধু third-party service-এর জন্য ব্যবহৃত Sign in with ChatGPT session, বা Codex CLI session পরিচালনা করে না.

Codex আপডেট: Windows-এর জন্য কম্পিউটার ব্যবহার ও রিমোট কন্ট্রোল, ব্যবহার প্রোফাইল
Codex অ্যাপে Windows-এ Codex এখন কম্পিউটার ব্যবহার সমর্থন করে. Codex অ্যাক্সেস থাকা Business ব্যবহারকারীরা কম্পিউটার ব্যবহার দিয়ে Codex-কে Windows অ্যাপ্লিকেশনে দেখা, ক্লিক করা ও টাইপ করতে দিতে পারেন. ব্যবহারকারীরা iOS বা Android-এ ChatGPT থেকে, অথবা Mac-এ Codex থেকে Windows ওয়ার্কফ্লো চালিয়ে যেতে পারেন—অগ্রগতি দেখা, প্রম্পটে সাড়া দেওয়া ও ডেস্ক থেকে দূরে থেকেও দিকনির্দেশনা দেওয়ার জন্য; এ সময় Windows মেশিনই প্রকল্প ফাইল, shell, অ্যাপ সার্ভার ও লোকাল কনটেক্সটের হোস্ট থাকে.
Windows-এ কম্পিউটার ব্যবহার চেষ্টা করতে Plugins marketplace থেকে Computer Use প্লাগইন ইনস্টল করে @ mention দিয়ে চালান, অথবা কাজের জন্য উপযুক্ত হলে Codex নিজেই এটি ব্যবহার করতে পারে.
এই রিলিজ Codex অ্যাপের সাড়া দেওয়া এবং ইন-অ্যাপ ব্রাউজারের গতি, স্থিতিশীলতা ও ওয়েব সামঞ্জস্যও উন্নত করে, এবং যোগ্য ব্যবহারকারীদের জন্য ধাপে ধাপে Codex প্রোফাইল যোগ করছে. প্রোফাইল ব্যবহারকারীদের তাদের Codex পরিচয়, সময়ের সঙ্গে কার্যকলাপ, প্রোফাইলের বিস্তারিত, ব্যবহার পরিসংখ্যান এবং টোকেন কার্যকলাপ পর্যালোচনা ও ট্র্যাক করতে দেয়.
লঞ্চের সময় Windows-এ কম্পিউটার ব্যবহার ইউরোপীয় অর্থনৈতিক এলাকা, যুক্তরাজ্য এবং সুইজারল্যান্ডে উপলভ্য নয়.

GitHub Enterprise, Snowflake এবং Databricks-এর জন্য অ্যাপ টেমপ্লেট
Business প্ল্যানে থাকা ওয়ার্কস্পেস অ্যাডমিন ও মালিকরা এখন GitHub Enterprise, Snowflake ও Databricks-এর জন্য ওয়ার্কস্পেস-নির্দিষ্ট অ্যাপ তৈরি করতে ChatGPT অ্যাপ টেমপ্লেট ব্যবহার করতে পারেন. অ্যাডমিনরা সদস্যদের কাছে অ্যাপ প্রকাশের আগে অ্যাপ টেমপ্লেট provider-specific configuration যেমন OAuth credential, callback URL, webhook details, managed MCP server URL এবং workspace access control-এর জন্য guided setup flow দেয়.
সাধারণ app-template flow ও প্রতিটি template-এর provider-specific ধাপ বুঝতে নতুন setup guide ব্যবহার করুন: ChatGPT app templates, GitHub Enterprise app template, Snowflake app template, এবং Databricks app template.
প্রকাশের পর অ্যাডমিনরা Workspace settings > Apps > Enabled থেকে role access, action controls ও action confirmation-সহ তৈরি হওয়া অ্যাপ পরিচালনা করতে পারেন.
ChatGPT ওয়ার্কস্পেস এজেন্টের জন্য নতুন নিয়ন্ত্রণ ও সক্ষমতা
আমরা ChatGPT Business-এ ওয়ার্কস্পেস এজেন্টের জন্য নতুন মডেল, অ্যাপ অ্যাক্সেস ও response সক্ষমতা চালু করছি.
ওয়ার্কস্পেস এজেন্ট এখন সমর্থন করে:
GPT-5.5 এবং রিজনিং effort controls: এজেন্ট তৈরির সময় নির্মাতারা GPT-5.5 বেছে নিতে এবং এজেন্টের ব্যবহৃত রিজনিং effort সেট করতে পারেন. আমরা এজেন্টজুড়ে response speed-ও উন্নত করেছি.
Guided agent setup: ব্যবহারকারীরা দ্রুত কার্যকর এজেন্ট তৈরি করতে পারে বলে ChatGPT এখন setup question জিজ্ঞেস করে.
Speech output: এজেন্টরা এখন তাদের response-এর অংশ হিসেবে audio file তৈরি করতে পারে.
আরও স্মার্ট Slack thread reply: Slack-এ ব্যবহৃত এজেন্ট initial mention-এর পর thread-এ প্রাসঙ্গিক follow-up message-এ সাড়া দিতে পারে. নির্মাতারা বেছে নিতে পারেন এজেন্ট প্রাসঙ্গিক thread message-এ সাড়া দেবে নাকি শুধু mention করা হলে সাড়া দেবে.

Codex এখন টিমকে দীর্ঘ ওয়ার্কফ্লোতে কনটেক্সট আনা, অভ্যন্তরীণ টুল পুনর্ব্যবহার এবং গ্রহণযোগ্যতা ট্র্যাক করার আরও উপায় দেয়:
macOS অ্যাপে Appshots ব্যবহারকারীদের হটকি দিয়ে Codex থ্রেডে অ্যাপ উইন্ডো যুক্ত করতে দেয়, স্ক্রিনশট ও উপলভ্য টেক্সটসহ.
লক্ষ্য মোড এখন Codex অ্যাপ, IDE এক্সটেনশন ও CLI জুড়ে সাধারণভাবে উপলভ্য, যাতে ব্যবহারকারীরা ফলাফল ও সাফল্যের মানদণ্ড নির্ধারণ করে Codex-কে সেই দিকে কাজ চালিয়ে যেতে দিতে পারেন.

Automation-এর জন্য Codex remote access ও access token
Team এখন ChatGPT mobile app ব্যবহার করে host Mac-এ চলা Codex কাজের সঙ্গে connected থাকতে পারে, ফলে host machine থেকে দূরে থাকলেও question answer, work redirect, action approve, output review এবং longer-running task চালিয়ে রাখা সহজ হয়. Mobile experience connected environment-এর live state দেখায়, যার মধ্যে project context, approval, screenshot, terminal output, diff এবং test result আছে.
Codex trusted, non-interactive local workflow-এর জন্য access token-ও যোগ করে, যাতে approved automation script, scheduler বা private CI runner দিয়ে ChatGPT workspace identity সহ run করতে পারে.
ChatGPT mobile app-এ Codex supported region-এ Business সহ সব plan-এ iOS ও Android-এ preview হিসেবে rollout হচ্ছে. চেষ্টা করতে ChatGPT mobile app এবং macOS-এর Codex app দুটিই update করুন. Mobile setup host-এর Codex App থেকে শুরু হয় এবং workspace-এর জন্য Remote Control access enabled থাকা লাগতে পারে.

Global admin console-এ Analytics ও Agents
Global admin console-এ এখন নতুন Analytics ও Agents এলাকা আছে. Analytics admin-দের adoption ও usage-এর consolidated view দেয়, active user ও message activity-এর trend view এবং GPTs, projects, skills, users, tool interactions, connector interactions ও workspace health-এর drilldown সহ.
Agents admin-দের organization জুড়ে workspace agents-এর consolidated view দেয়. Admin কোনো agent খুলে Agent ID, recent activity, connected apps, memory files, schedules, এবং unique users ও runs over time-এর মতো agent analytics review করতে পারেন, অথবা Builder-এ গিয়ে edit করতে পারেন. Excel ও Google Sheets-এর জন্য ChatGPT
Excel ও Google Sheets-এর জন্য ChatGPT এখন ChatGPT Business-এর জন্য বিশ্বব্যাপী উপলভ্য; এতে টিমগুলো Excel ও Google Sheets-এ ওয়ার্কবুক তৈরি, পরিষ্কার, আপডেট ও ব্যাখ্যার জন্য স্প্রেডশিট-নেটিভ ChatGPT সাইডবার পায়. উপলভ্য থাকলে এটি Skills ও অ্যাপ সমর্থন করে, ফলে স্প্রেডশিটের কাজ ব্যবহারকারীর ChatGPT অ্যাকাউন্টের অনুমোদিত ফাইল, সিস্টেম ও ডাটা সোর্স ব্যবহার করতে পারে.

Enterprise ও Business-এর জন্য ChatGPT Workspace Agents
ChatGPT ওয়ার্কস্পেস এজেন্ট আগামী কয়েক সপ্তাহে ধাপে ধাপে ChatGPT Business ওয়ার্কস্পেসে চালু হচ্ছে.
Workspace Agents প্রতিষ্ঠানকে পুনরাবৃত্তিযোগ্য কাজের জন্য এজেন্ট তৈরি ও ব্যবহার করতে এবং সংযুক্ত সব অ্যাপ কাজে লাগিয়ে ব্যবসায়িক ওয়ার্কফ্লো স্বয়ংক্রিয় করতে দেয়; এগুলো ChatGPT এবং/অথবা Slack-এ চালানো যায়. ওয়ার্কস্পেস এজেন্ট তৈরি করা, প্রকাশের আগে প্রিভিউ করা, ওয়ার্কস্পেসে শেয়ার করা এবং সময়সূচি অনুযায়ী চালানো যায়.
যোগ্য ওয়ার্কস্পেস এখন করতে পারে:

Google Drive, Google Calendar, Slack ও SharePoint-এর মতো টুল ও অ্যাপে এজেন্ট সংযোগ করা.

এজেন্ট ব্যক্তিগতভাবে, লিংক দিয়ে, বা ওয়ার্কস্পেস ডিরেক্টরিতে শেয়ার করা.

ওয়ার্কস্পেস অ্যাডমিনরা admin controls দিয়ে agent building, publishing এবং Slack usage-এ অ্যাক্সেসও পরিচালনা করতে পারেন. লঞ্চের সময় ChatGPT ওয়ার্কস্পেস এজেন্ট ডিফল্টভাবে চালু থাকে.
জাপানে sync-সহ অ্যাপের জন্য ডাটা রেসিডেন্সি

সরলীকৃত অ্যাপ অ্যাকশন নিয়ন্ত্রণ
ওয়ার্কস্পেস মালিক ও অ্যাডমিনরা এখন Workspace settings > Apps-এ সরলীকৃত মডেল দিয়ে অ্যাপ অ্যাকশন পরিচালনা করতে পারেন. Action control-এ অ্যাডমিনরা একটি অ্যাপ সব অ্যাকশন অনুমতি দেবে, শুধু read action অনুমতি দেবে, নাকি বর্তমান অ্যাকশনের জন্য custom configuration ব্যবহার করবে তা বেছে নিতে পারেন.
পরে যোগ হওয়া অ্যাকশন কীভাবে সামলানো হবে সেটিও অ্যাডমিনরা বেছে নিতে পারেন: সব নতুন অ্যাকশন চালু, শুধু নতুন read action চালু, বা পর্যালোচনা না হওয়া পর্যন্ত নতুন অ্যাকশন বন্ধ. এতে প্রয়োজনে সূক্ষ্ম নিয়ন্ত্রণ রেখে অ্যাপ permission পরিচালনা সহজ হয়.

Outlook shared mailbox এবং shared calendar action
ChatGPT-এর জন্য Outlook Email ও Calendar অ্যাপ এখন টিমের জন্য আরও delegated Outlook workflow সমর্থন করে. সঠিক Microsoft permission থাকলে, ব্যবহারকারীরা ChatGPT-কে shared mailbox message তালিকাভুক্ত ও পড়তে, shared mailbox folder browse করতে, shared mail read বা unread mark করতে, shared message move করতে, এবং shared mailbox থেকে বা তার পক্ষে plain-text email পাঠাতে বলতে পারেন. ChatGPT shared Outlook calendar-এর event create, update, respond, cancel, delete এবং ছোট file attach-ও করতে পারে.

ChatGPT Business-এ নতুন Codex seat
আমরা নতুন seat type introduce করছি: flexible, credit-based pricing-এর উপর ভিত্তি করে Codex seat. আপডেট করা Box, Notion, Linear ও Dropbox অ্যাপ
আমরা ChatGPT Business-এ আপডেট করা Box, Notion, Linear, এবং Dropbox অ্যাপ চালু করছি. এই আপডেটগুলো supported where available নতুন write capability সহ নতুন app action যোগ করে এবং সর্বশেষ app experience ChatGPT-এ নিয়ে আসে.

Google Drive app unification
ChatGPT-এ Google-এর file appগুলো এখন Google Drive-এর অধীনে unified, ফলে Google Drive-এ আপনার Google Docs, Sheets ও Slides নিয়ে কাজ করার জন্য single app experience পাওয়া যায়.
নতুন Google Drive action Business workspace-এর জন্য default on. Admin/owner Workspace settings > Apps. থেকে action review ও manage করতে পারেন. Google Drive entry খুঁজে Manage actions click করুন.
Google Drive, Docs, Sheets ও Slides app-এর existing user-রা unaffected - previously connected app কাজ চালিয়ে যায়. Unified experience ব্যবহার করতে existing user-রা Google Drive app disconnect ও reconnect করে ChatGPT-এর ভেতরে নতুন action ব্যবহার শুরু করতে পারেন. New user-রা separate app connect না করেই Docs, Sheets ও Slides action ব্যবহার করতে Google Drive app connect করতে পারেন.

Apps & connectors admin UI refresh
We’ve refreshed the Apps & connectors section in Workspace settings for admins and owners with a clearer layout: tabs for Enabled, Available, and Draft; a streamlined list view; search and filters; and bulk actions like selecting multiple apps to manage roles or disable. Enabling actions, including sync where supported, now live directly in each connector’s listing.

Atlassian Rovo MCP connector
We’re adding Atlassian Rovo to our list of MCP connectors, which brings in your Jira, Compass, and Confluence information to bring relevant project context into your chats. This connector enables you to take supported write actions in Jira right from ChatGPT — such as creating issues and triggering workflows—based on what you request and on patterns identified in your project data. All actions are initiated, approved and completed directly in chat.
Admins can review actions and other basic information about the connectors in Workspace settings → App. Users can add the Atlassian Rovo from Settings → Apps & Connectors.
The Atlassian Rovo connector is available to Enterprise, Edu, Business, Pro and Plus customers with connectors enabled for their workspace.

New MCP connectors available today
We’re rolling out a new set of MCP access connectors built by partners and reviewed by OpenAI, including Amplitude, Fireflies, Vercel, Monday.com, Stripe, Hex, Egnyte, Alpaca, BioRender, Semrush, and Jam.dev. This is available to Enterprise, Edu, Business, Pro and Plus customers with connectors enabled for their workspace. These connectors expand the set of tools customers can bring into ChatGPT and will be followed by additional connectors on a rolling basis.
The connectors released today are access connectors, which fetch content when a user asks a question, built using MCP. Connectors remain default off for Enterprise plans, and default on for Business plans.
Admins can review Actions and other basic information about these connectors in Workspace settings → Apps.

Starting today, company knowledge will support custom MCP connectors with search/fetch functionality. Custom connectors fitting this criteria that are enabled for your organization will appear in the company knowledge experience for users that have enabled them for allowed users, giving your team a more complete, accurate, and company-specific context when using the feature.
Admins/owners can continue to manage access to custom connectors in Workspace settings.

Apps & Apps SDK now available to Business plans
ChatGPT Business customers will now have access to ChatGPT apps. Apps include interactive interfaces – like presentations, maps, and playlists – that respond to natural language and adapt to your conversation. You can start with a bulleted outline and ask Canva to turn it into a professional presentation, or turn a rough sketch into a FigJam diagram—all without leaving ChatGPT.
Our pilot partners—like Figma, Canva, Booking.com, Coursera, Expedia, Spotify, and Zillow—will be available to Business customers in markets where their services are offered, starting in English, with more apps coming.
You can also build your own apps with the Apps SDK, then test and deploy it for your team using developer mode.

Introducing the ChatGPT app and ChatGPT connector for Slack
We’re rolling out two new ways to bring Slack and ChatGPT together: a connector that brings your Slack context into ChatGPT, and a ChatGPT app for Slack – an integration that enables you to chat with ChatGPT from inside Slack.
With the ChatGPT app for Slack, you can chat one-on-one with ChatGPT in a dedicated Slack sidebar – a space to ask questions, summarize long threads into action items, draft replies, and search messages and files you already have access to. Chats you start in Slack also appear in your ChatGPT sidebar, so it’s easy to pick up later from web or mobile. Semantic search is supported for Slack customers with AI enabled on Business+ or Enterprise+ plans; all other plans use keyword search.
With the ChatGPT connector for Slack, you can securely bring in context from your Slack channels and DMs, making responses more helpful Available in chat, Deep Research, and Agent Mode. The connector is enabled by default for Business customers, and users can enable from Settings > Apps & Connectors.
Both app and connector are available to Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise/Edu customers. Additionally, the ChatGPT app for Slack requires a paid Slack account; availability and workspace installation may depend on your Slack workspace settings.
Installing the app requires the connector to be enabled for your account.

Updates to Codex
We’re rolling out new Codex capabilities to help teams work and build better: Codex now works in Slack, and supports programmatic control through the Codex SDK. We’ve also added new admin controls and analytics so workspace admins can manage Codex Cloud environments, set safe defaults for CLI/IDE usage, and monitor usage with improved dashboards. Additionally, Codex rates have been updated.

Introducing project sharing
Today, we’re announcing an update to projects in ChatGPT. Now you can share projects with teammates in your workspace, adding files and instructions together to guide ChatGPT’s responses toward a shared goal. Members can chat with the project’s context to stay on the same page as new information gets added and create work that stays consistent in tone.
Shared projects are ideal for ongoing work like client management, content creation, reporting, and research.
Invite members in your workspace by individual email, group email, or shared link. Add/remove project members, set project access permissions, create new chats, add/remove files, and allow members to bring existing chats into the project. Memory is project-only, ensuring sensitive data stays safely within the project.

Introducing GPT-5-Codex
We’re adding GPT-5-codex, a GPT-5 variant optimized for agentic coding in Codex. It’s available everywhere you use Codex: default for cloud tasks and code review, and selectable for local workflows via the Codex CLI and IDE extension. Use GPT-5-codex for coding-focused work in Codex, or Codex-like environments; use GPT-5 for general, non-coding tasks. Please review the announcement blog for more information.
Note: GPT-5-Codex is not currently supported in ChatGPT or the API.

Sharepoint synced connector
ChatGPT Business workspaces can now use the Sharepoint synced connector, which enables workspace members to securely ask questions and get answers directly from their OneDrive and SharePoint files. Connections can be created, deleted, or modified at any time. Once enabled, ChatGPT will automatically reference your SharePoint content when relevant.
Workspace Admins must enable access to the Sharepoint connector in their workspace’s Admin connectors settings. Once this is enabled, each user can connect their individual account by signing in to SharePoint through an OAuth flow.

We’ve renamed the ChatGPT Team plan to ChatGPT Business to better reflect how customers use ChatGPT today. This is a name change only—there are no changes to your features, pricing, usage limits, or security.

Starting today, Codex works with you everywhere you build—in your terminal or IDE, on the web, in GitHub, and even from the ChatGPT iOS app. Your ChatGPT account connects it all, so you can work seamlessly between your local environment and Codex’s cloud without losing state.
We’re excited to introduce the latest Codex updates:
IDE Extension: The new extension brings codex into VS Code, Cursor, and other VS Code forks, so that you can seamlessly preview local changes and edit code
Sign in with ChatGPT: Available in both the IDE and CLI, eliminating API key setup and providing access directly through your existing ChatGPT plan
Seamless Local ↔ Cloud Handoff: Developers can pair with Codex locally and then delegate tasks to the cloud to execute asynchronously without losing state
Upgraded Codex CLI: Refreshed UI, new commands, and bug fixes
Code reviews in GitHub: Set up Codex to automatically review new PRs in a repo, or mention @codex in PRs to get reviews and suggested fixes

Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts Connectors in ChatGPT
Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts are now available to connect and use in chat. Once you enable them, ChatGPT will automatically reference them when relevant, making it faster and easier to bring information from these tools into your conversations without having to manually select them each time.
If you already have Gmail or Google Calendar enabled for deep research, you can now also use them in chat. To use them in deep research, you will still need to enable each connector separately and select it every time you start a new deep research request.

Project-only memory
An improvement to projects is now available. When creating a project, users have the option to enable project-only memory.
With project-only memory enabled, ChatGPT can use other conversations in that project for additional context, and won’t use your saved memories from outside the project to shape responses. Additionally, it won’t carry anything from the project into future chats outside of the project.
This creates a focused, self-contained space, which is useful for long-running or sensitive work where you want ChatGPT to stay anchored to that project’s tone, context, and history.
Note:
Personal Memory must be enabled to utilize this feature.
Settings -> Personalization -> Memory
Workspace Memory must be enabled to utilize this feature.
Workspace owners can enable this by Workspace Settings -> Memory
This feature will initially only be available on the ChatGPT website and Windows app. Support for mobile (iOS and Android) and macOS app will follow in the coming weeks.

Additional connectors
Now connect even more tools in ChatGPT for useful, relevant responses in chat.
Microsoft Teams, Outlook email and calendar, and Github are now available to search by chat in addition to deep research.
To enable, visit Settings → Connectors→ Connect on the application. Note that connectors are still in beta and defaulted off for Enterprise & Edu plans. Admins can enable them for their workspace in Settings.

GPT-5
GPT-5 is slowly rolling out to all users on ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Team, and Free plans worldwide across web, mobile, and desktop. GPT-5 will be available to ChatGPT Enterprise and Edu plans soon.
GPT-5 in ChatGPT is our next flagship model and the new default for all logged-in users. It simplifies ChatGPT to a single auto-switching system that brings together the best of our previous models into a smart, fast model.
GPT-5 is available to all ChatGPT Tiers. Users on Paid tiers - Plus, Pro, and Team - have access to the model picker, which enables you to manually select GPT-5 or GPT-5 Thinking. Pro and Team tier users have access to GPT-5 Thinking Pro, which takes a bit longer to think but delivers the accuracy you need for complex tasks.

If you open a conversation that used one of these models:

ChatGPT will automatically switch it to the closest GPT-5 equivalent. Chats with 4o, 4.1, 4.5, 4.1-mini, o4-mini, or o4-mini-high will open in GPT-5, chats with o3 will open in GPT-5-Thinking, and chats with o3-Pro will open in GPT-5-Pro (available only on Pro and Team).
Please note that Voice mode is still powered by GPT-4o.
Personalities
You can now choose from four distinct personalities or use the Default personality in your Customize ChatGPT settings. Default is the standard ChatGPT style: clear, neutral, and adaptable. The other personalities each have their own style and tone, described below.
Cynic – Sarcastic and dry, delivers blunt help with wit. Often teases, but provides direct, practical answers when it matters.
Robot – Precise, efficient, and emotionless, delivering direct answers without extra words.
Listener – Warm and laid-back, reflecting your thoughts back with calm clarity and light wit.
Nerd – Playful and curious, explaining concepts clearly while celebrating knowledge and discovery.
Please note that these personalities will not apply to Voice mode.
Accent Colors
You can now set an accent color that applies to elements in ChatGPT, including your conversation bubbles, the Voice button, and highlighted text.
On web: Click your profile icon at the bottom left, select Settings, go to the General tab, and choose an option from the Accent color drop-down.
On mobile (iOS and Android): Tap your profile icon at the bottom, go to Personalization, then select Color Scheme to pick your accent color.
ChatGPT Voice updates
Today we’re rolling out improvements to Voice Mode to make it more accessible and useful for everyone. It also now works with custom GPTs. We’re expanding access with near-unlimited use for Plus users and hours each day for Free users. To simplify the experience, Standard Voice Mode will be retired in 30 days, unifying all users onto our latest voice experience.
For paid users, Voice now adapts to your instructions, adjusting its speaking style (length, speed, tone, and more) to fit the moment.

Study Mode
Study mode is currently available to users in Free, Plus, Pro, and Teams plans globally and will expand to Edu plans in the coming weeks. Study mode works with any model available in ChatGPT on iOS, Android, web, and desktop.
Study mode is a new learning experience in ChatGPT designed to help you build a deeper understanding of any topic. When you turn it on, ChatGPT will ask interactive questions to understand your goals and skill level, then work with you to reach the answer together.
With Study mode enabled, ChatGPT can:
Guide understanding with Socratic-style questions.
Break concepts into easy to follow sections starting simple and adding complexity as you progress.
Personalize responses based on your past chats if memory is on, using examples and tips tailored to you.
Check your understanding with open-ended prompts and feedback.
Work with your materials by referencing images or PDFs you upload.
You can enable study mode at any time by selecting Tools in the prompt window and choosing Study and learn from the drop‑down menu or go to chatgpt.com/studymode.
Study mode is powered by custom system instructions and can have some inconsistent behavior and mistakes across conversations. We plan on training this behavior directly into our main models once we’ve learned what works best through iteration and user feedback.

Releasing GPT-4.1 in ChatGPT for all paid users
Since its launch in the API in April, GPT-4.1 has become a favorite among developers—by popular demand, we’re making it available directly in ChatGPT.
GPT-4.1 is a specialized model that excels at coding tasks. Compared to GPT-4o, it's even stronger at precise instruction following and web development tasks, and offers an alternative to OpenAI o3 and OpenAI o4-mini for simpler, everyday coding needs.
Starting today, Plus, Pro, and Team users can access GPT-4.1 via the "more models" dropdown in the model picker. Enterprise and Edu users will get access in the coming weeks. GPT-4.1 has the same rate limits as GPT-4o for paid users.

Scheduled tasks in ChatGPT
Today we’re rolling out a beta version of tasks—a new way to ask ChatGPT to do things for you at a future time. Whether it's one-time reminders or recurring actions, tell ChatGPT what you need and when, and it will automatically take care of it.
Scheduled tasks is in early beta for Plus, Pro, and Teams. Eventually this will be available to anyone with a ChatGPT account.

Projects in ChatGPT

Projects provide a new way to group files and chats for personal use, simplifying the management of work that involves multiple chats. You can set custom instructions and upload files in your Projects, and any conversations in your Project share context with your uploaded files and custom instructions. Starting today, we’re beginning to roll out Advanced Voice Mode on web (already available on mobile and desktop apps). You can now start a voice chat on chatgpt.com on your desktop and have real-time, natural conversations with ChatGPT while doing tasks like shopping, planning, writing, and brainstorming.

Introducing GPT-4o

Plus users will have a message limit that is up to 5x greater than free users, and Team and Enterprise users will have even higher limits.
